No sauce? You have to have a sauce. |

MMMM Gumbo.
So, I decided to cook up a steak. Starting up the grill when it's not a party is a pain in the ass, so just seared and broiled. Topped with some saut+Žed mushrooms and onions, and just some steak fries as a side, so nothing complicated; just delicious.
In other news, lore hounds will be interested to know we've been poking some Jove Observatories, trying to entosis everything, and keeping an eye on the drifters, and much tinfoiling is to be had.
For the rest of you, exploration ventures proceed as normal, though any potential recruits will be interested to know, I have a tripwire filter to share data between corp members till we get a proper corp account for Tripwire or Siggy or something set up. |

This will sound terrible, but I am craving some salisbury steak. Time to put together some homemade TV Dinners. and Makoto, I was talking about butter poaching. It's much worse for your health, and totally worth it (well maybe not the actual cost in butter)
Anyone else hungry? |

Well at it's most basic, it's essentially a hamburger patty in brown gravy, but frozen dinners are usually made with the cheapest meat available, a bunch of binders and some black magic to make it actually taste good.
My gravy at least was made with real beef stock and had mushrooms and onions in it. And I made leftovers that I put in plastic containers I got takeout in |

More plans, and more scheming. Ramping up for corp ops soon, and working to get the pieces in place to make stuff out of any shineys we find.
Drop Mak or myself a line if you want in on these shenanigans. |

Well those last two OP could have gone better, but hey, at least we have our radioactive bread.
So todays brunch was random soup. I started saut+Žing off some onions to put on a couple brats then decided instead I'd make french onion soup instead. Then I realized I don't actually have any beef stock, so I threw some chuck into a pot with some water and a carrot, and a packet of concentrated beef "flavor" (at least according to the ingredients it is mostly beef stock concentrate and the essence of savory). Mixed that in with the caramelized onions and got a pretty onion beef soup.

MMMM Pallela. I'm just making some cream corn. Nothing special.
Not what I had today, but I have decided the best topping for steak is sauteed mushrooms and onions mixed with a bit of reduced soy sauce and a drop of Worcestershire and mix a pad of butter in at the end (like if you were making a burre blanc). if you pan fried the steak, that's what you deglaze the pan with.
So, if anyone is keeping score, IKAME has now had 3 mentions in the Scope, Makoto was featured specifically, as well as a mention of another person (Lucas Raholan) for what he found on an official IKAME op, and CCP has just gotten around to giving a few of us medals. |

For the record, we didn't do it, CONCORD is just terrible and mean. |

Always need more warm bodies to fight them Drifters, and when we aren't fighting Drifters, there is much lore and exploration shenanigans to be had in game and on Slack. === In food related news, what's a weird thing you've had to do because you were missing an important ingredient? I remember one time I came over to cook dinner for my parents; they had no butter, so I learned how to make a beurre blanc sauce with margarine. |

==== Also, lol Haria. IKAME cooking show, that'd be amusing as hell. Anyone hungry for some IKAME brand Drifter Bites? They won't go soggy in the pod. |
